How to print cards at home

Printing your card at home is quick and simple. After purchasing a design, you’ll receive a downloadable PDF card file ready to print.

You can print directly onto 5″ × 7″ card, or print onto A4 card and cut to size using our template guides.

We’ve also provided a printable envelope template that works on standard A4 paper, so you can create a complete card and envelope set at home.

Follow the steps below to print your card and envelope perfectly every time.

How to print

Our cards are designed to be printed on 5"  x  7" plain white cards. These can be purchased with envelopes on Amazon or any good stationary shop.

STEP 1 - Insert your card with the outside face down in your printer. Set your printer to print on A4 paper and borderless printing. Print the page with the outer design on.

STEP 2 - Make a note on which way the design comes out.

STEP 3 - Insert the card exactly how the card came out so now the inside will be facing down. Select to print the page with the inside text you require.

STEP 4 - The card is now complete. Write your message and give to your loved one.

How to make your own card

If you don't have any cards to hand you can use a sheet of white A4 card to print on instead. Purchase card from Amazon or any good stationery shop. Go for 200gsm.

STEP 1 - Download & print our card template. Set your printer to print on A4 paper and borderless printing.

STEP 2 - Cut away the sides, leaving the finished card size before being folded.

STEP 3 - Insert your card with the line side face down in your printer. Set your printer to print on A4 paper and borderless printing. Print the page with the outer design on.

STEP 4 - Make a note on which way the design comes out.

STEP 5 -  Insert the card exactly how the card came out so now the inside will be facing down. Select to print the page with the inside text you require.

STEP 6 - Fold the card along the line.

How to make your own envelope

If you don't have any envelopes to hand, you can use a sheet of white paper to print on and fold instead. Purchase paper from Amazon or any good stationery shop. Go for 70gsm to 120gsm.

STEP 1 - Download & print our envelope template. Set your printer to print on A4 paper and borderless printing.

STEP 2 - Cut away four corners marked remove.

STEP 3 - Fold the bottom up along the yellow line.

STEP 4 - Fold the two sides in and tape them down.

STEP 5 -  Insert your printed and signed card.

STEP 6 - Fold the top down long the yellow line and seal with some tape.
